FortJazz Big Band
performs an exciting variety of music from
classic Big Band Era swing to today's popular Las Vegas show
arrangements. Our full-size Big
Band creates that exciting sound that you rarely hear anymore.
At dance
events we can add a variety of Latin, Waltz, and Tango styles
in addition to your Big Band Swing and Foxtrot favorites. Our
music library contains a wide variety of entertaining music
that is available for your event.
We
feature the area's top musical talent including great vocalists. Our
arrangements feature the music of Duke Ellington, Count Basie,
Tommy Dorsey, Glenn Miller, Harry James, Stan Kenton, Frank
Sinatra, Les Brown, George & Ira Gershwin, Rogers & Heart, Cole
Porter, Hoagy Carmichael, Hank Williams, Patsy Cline, Buddy
Rich, Brian Setzer, Gordon Goodwin and many others.

Colorado Swing
is our smaller dance band with the same music and style as
the full-size Big Band. We are also available for your wedding, dance,
or special event, and we can tailor the music to include your favorite arrangements and dance styles.
A smaller
ensemble from our big band groups can perform a set of quiet background or
energetic cocktail music preceding the Big
Band dance portion of your event, if desired.
